Beautifully refurbished rooms, very friendly staff, and great food. Some noise from the bar/garden - as you would expect from an Inn - but very quiet after closing time, with a very comfy bed. Great value.

One of those rare finds that you almost want to keep to yourself so you can always get a room.. :-) We booked only 3 hours before our 2 night stay so options were limited and we were a bit worried we'd be left with what no-one else wanted. Charming, centuries old country pub with not a straight beam in the place. Our room was large, characterful, spotless and comfortable. Decent pub grub delivered with especially warm and friendly service.

Such a lovely place to stay for my friends wedding, staff were so friendly and accommodation allowing me to check in early so I could get ready. Room was comfy and clean and breakfast was delicious and such a good portion! Would 100% recommend.

Very friendly staff , gorgeous room with huge comfy bed! Mineral water ,luxury soap etc and hot chocolate for the kids!! Lovely breakfast and wonderful service ! The best thing was our little dog was welcome too in the hotel and the pub. Great location as it makes a nice stop when visiting center parcs especially if your bringing your doggy friend ! The staff were really friendly and approachable. The meal I had was one of the best I've had in a long while. The room was really clean with a Nespresso coffee machine which for me was a really nice touch as I love my coffee. The shower was lovely and hot. A flying visit, arriving late and leaving early. Welcoming and comfortable, however the overwhelming standout and the reason that I will definitely return is the food - dinner and breakfast were both exceptional.

A lovely warm welcome (home made cookies!) and a very comfortable stay. The room was spacious, beds huge, bathroom accessible, bathroom products divine, and there was lots of storage space. Walking distance to the beach and to The Ship Inn, and easy driving distance to other interesting places to visit: Felbrigg Hall, Holt, Blakeney (seal safari) and Wells Next The Sea all worth a visit. Breakfast was lovely and service excellent.

I've stayed here approx 6 or 7 times over the last year, its always a 5 star experience. Its a beautiful place set back from a road (not a busy road). Its always exceptionally clean and tidy. Staff are always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The full English breakfast is fantastic, always hot. I always try and stay here when I'm up visiting family and hope to stay again in Feb 2024.

Amazing stay. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Often hotels state pet friendly, but these guys added some really nice useful touches, to make us all welcome. Beautiful property in a great location.
