Always enjoy my stay at Grof Personally I prefer the guesthouse to the hotel (I have stayed in both) it just seems more homely, but regardless of where you sleep I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay at Grof. The restaurant and coffee shop is very well frequented by the locals, which is always a good sign.

So the stay started badly after arrival at the hotel the system was down nobody could check-in. Once we got a paper listing of who could check in we proceeded. Can’t ask for much more - great staff, clean, and ideally situated!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Planinka. The hotel was immaculately clean, with excellent attention to detail throughout. We booked this room for 3 nights largely because of the washing machine - we’re on a European road trip and decided this would be a good time to refresh our wardrobe! However, there’s no drying rack or rail so you need to hang wet clothes to dry on the bathroom towel rail and on clothes hangers. There is no room service, or self/catering facilities (except a mini fridge), but there is a coffee and snack machine in the basement, and a great shopping arcade (‘ALEJA’) just 5 minutes walk away from...

Fantastic people and amazing Thallasso spa experience

Very pleasant few days staying here, staff were very helpful & attentive. Breakfast was plentiful. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Only comment for improvement was earlier opening of the gym (9am is too late for morning exercisers) and better air conditioning in there too.

Very convenient location just by bus stop serving lake and trail heads. Very helpful staff who were able to accommodate left luggage at €5/bag. We would happily stay again.

Fantastic location and very comfortable. We enjoyed even rainy day with nice swimming pool and you can try great experience, it’s Cryo therapy!
