Beautiful hotel and very friendly and professional staff. Our Room was spacious clean and comfortable. Swimming pool was lovely and well maintained. Would visit again.

A great choice of hotel. Beautifully presented and in a wonderful spot on the bank of the Nile. Very peaceful and easy to get into town. Professional and friendly staff who seem to genuinely like their jobs, which reflects in a better quality of service. good wifi. Excellent/diverse choice at breakfast buffet. Restaurant and bar pricey though. Yet this is surely the best place to stay in Luxor. We will return.

This is a small hotel of the beaten track but on the hot air balloon route. The food choice is limited but tasty. The host was very accommodating and organised a trip after we left the hotel.

Friendly family run hotel ... They made every effort to ensure all my needs where met.... Located in a nice quiet area few minutes walk from the wonderful Habu Temple.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The setting was like an oriental palace in a dream-like mirage but very real, with stunning rooms, glorious food and the most wonderful staff, not to mention the farm with the animals and the workshops. Not just a hotel but a destination, an oasis!

What an amazing hotel! We had one of the best weeks we have ever had at The Jolie Ville. I was a little apprehensive before we arrived after reading other reviews but I needn't have been. The hotel was amazing. We had a beautiful room that was in a central location for all of the facilities. The staff were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I loved the infinity pool and although it was not heated we had no need for it to be, temperatures were between 33° and 36° so it was a...

I felt really looked after, my room was lovely and the food was really excellent and fresh. Hamdy the waiter could not have been more attentive. I loved the herbs straight from the garden on your food, ie rocket, and the felafel was the equal best I have ever had in Egypt (I am a bit of a connniseur of felafel). The roof is amazing and the views are incredible.

The view over the Nile was gorgeous, but I was concerned about the Animals and their care. I know they are not all yours, but please ensure they are cared for the best possible.

Room was clean and very well organised for you will need and make sure you read the description which was very thoughtful and helpful. Staff was excellent, breakfast was great and delicious, room decor really well put. Wi-Fi didn't work for us ,but that wasn't a problem, and because it's west side taxi/uber/indrive all will negotiate price higher. I would recommend book with hotel car for day it's well priced and will save you a lot of negotiations time :) at the end hotel deserve it's praise and...

We have just returned home after a fabulous stay at the Steigenberger Nile Palace and I cannot praise this hotel highly enough. It has recently undergone a renovation which has given the Steigenberger a real 5* rating. The rooms are great and the staff make any stay a fantastic experience. Too many names to mention them all but special thanks to Ahmed, Ashraf, Osama, Aly, Hasan and last but not least Amina, who has made sure that next years trip will be better than ever. For those I have missed...

The location felt out of the way initially, but actually was very easy to manage. And it was lovely quiet and nice have the rural feeling. The hotel was very good value for the money. The room was simple but big and clean. The hotel pool and restaurant was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a nice and relaxing stay.

Had an absolutely lovely time here. Abdella and the rest the staff were super helpful, the room was quiet and gorgeous and I loved the pool! Highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a holiday, with easy access to the valley of kings!

The room was great, the location is a bit far out from luxor town but is 100% worth it bcs you could enjoy the views of the hot air balloons overhead during breakfast. Mohra helped us well with even setting up shuttle service to the station and a hit air balloon ride in the morning (separate charge). Overall great stay, would recommend.

This is a family owned hotel on the west bank of the Nile. Just FYI - the Valley of Kings and Valley of Queens, as well as some other temples and tombs you'll want to see, are on the west bank. But most people live on the east bank, and you'll want to visit that side to see Karnak and Luxor temples. So first decide which side you want to stay on. Both have advantages, but in short, east side is busier but has many more options for dining. By contrast, west side is easy going, you are just a few...

A fortnight at any hotel can take its toll. By Day 10, you're missing coffee the way you make it yourself and would love a soft poached egg. There are though plenty of options provided by the breakfast buffet and the coffee is bearable and there's plenty to fill up on to start a Luxor day. Energy is needed in Luxor. Energy, understanding and a sense of humour so a good breakfast is a bonus. You get a good breakfast at the Sonesta and great service. The rooms are comfortable with many having...

Great value for money, very clean, well maintained, wonderful swimming pool, outstanding location, good breakfast and friendly efficient staff. Marina in guest services very helpful and knowledgable. Kristine on reception went out of her way to get me into my room when I arrived early. highly recommend this hotel
