We took our little boy for an over night stay and the illuminations and we all loved it. The resort view was great, the illuminations looked great at night from the room. The onsite amenities like the soft play and super child friendly resteraunt were great. We loved the everything about it and have already booked to come back at Christmas this year.

Nice quiet room with shower. Freshly decorated and overall an enjoyable stay. Food was excellent, as was the staff who were friendly and helpful. Thank you.

The setting was beautiful as was the lodge for the most part, only complaints are the pull out bed in the living room and would of been nice if the hosts warmed the cabin up before arrival

Clean, comfortable, safe - what more could you want on a budget?! Will return if in the area :)

Went marshalling at Donnington racetrack for weekend. Ideally placed & priced. Would book again.

Relaxing and centrally located to shops transport

We were looking for somewhere local to a wedding we were attending and this ticked the boxes. The room was adequate and beds were OK. We had a family room for myself and 14 yer old daughter. A double bed and a double sofa bed both of which were made up on arrival. The room was serviced on each of our 3 night stay towels were replaced regularly. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. A little disappointed that there was only a continental breakfast available but it was OK. We only booked...

Lovely room, only 1 issue, the bed could do with a better mattress however I slept like a baby both nights! Spotlessly clean and staff very helpful and friendly!

It was a charming old style Country house. The room was elegantly furnished. Tea and coffee making facilities. Lovely fluffy towels. Heating in the room and blackout curtains. Free WiFi very useful

The property is very well located on a hill above Bakewell. Parking for a medium sized car on site is a bonus. Bakewell is a busy town, full of tourists. Ate at Charleston’s, do not recommend. Everything was great, we enjoyed our 3 nights at Bakewell

The Mouse House is a very quirky little cottage set in the quiet village of Elton. You'll have everything that you need there for your stay. Bakewell, Chatsworth and Rowsley Shopping Village are all within a comfortable driving distance and Robin Hoods Stride/ Stone Circle an easy walk away.
