"Gorgeous castle close to Edinburgh! So far the main areas are renovated and they are stunning. The aesthetic blends castle feel (gold mirrors, beautiful wooden buttresses, textured wallpaper) with fabulous modern touches (lighting and tiling). We stayed in suite 27 and it had luxurious touches throughout (copper bathtub, double headed shower, new tiling, beautiful new bed) mixed with remnants of the castle feel (tapestry headboard and ancient well (secured) .
