"Denise is a great host with a lovely comfortable and spacious property. A welcome pack was provided and suggested lots of local places to visit. Fantastic location and views. Only 20 mins away from Peebles and Biggar, both having a great selection of pubs and restaurants. 40 mins from Edinburgh too. Highly recommended. Thanks Denise for a great stay."

"Beautifully presented property in the heart of historic Edinburgh. Rooms are well presented, clean and modern. The public areas preserve the history of the building while updating with modern amenities. The staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast is outstanding. The only thing to be aware of is that the parking (in a public building) is a reasonable distance away. Other than that this hotel is well worth a visit, we will return."
