Best location at Vik, directly looking at Dyrhólaey Lighthouse and endless black beach with nothing in between to obstruct the view.. Beautifully designed, well organised apartment , very spacious for our family of 3.. Sofa bed was really fancy and comfy as well. Spotlessly cleaned and lots of storage, we enjoyed our 2 nights thoroughly over here..

Great place to stay. Nice rooms and couldn’t be better located.

High quality apartment. Quiet, comfy beds. Washer and dryer included. Convenient location. Only small improvement would be to have Netflix available on the TV.

Positives? Too many to mention. Negatives? Only one... the funny water smell, however this is something all residences suffer from in Iceland (due to the geothermal water supply) The staff were especially helpful, having a garage was very helpful and despite the central location very easy to drive to. Wife and daughter loved it too. Would stay here again 10/10

Lovely, small hotel. Rooms modern, stylish, very warm and wonderfully clean. Staff were incredibly helpful and attentive - nothing was too big or small for their kind attention, efficient. Continental breakfast plentiful and fresh, tea and coffee available in small but stylish lounge 24/7. I want to go back in the summer and will book this hotel again and have no hesitation in recommending it to all my friends.

We had a fabulous time here. Room was clean and had everything provided you could possibly need. Breakfast was amazing- ample for breakfast ans snacks for lunch too! I don’t think we ever managed to finish it on any of the days we stayed! Check in was seamless with all the info we needed. Would stay here again without a doubt.

The hotel’s location was excellent and it had an elegant feel to it! Staff were very friendly and also welcoming too. Our room was upgraded on arrival also. I’d definitely recommend staying here to other travellers!

The most amazing hotel / suite apartment you can stay at. Amazing views, amazing staff who look after every detail and care for you whilst staying here. Amazing food and drinks and breakfast delivered to you room everyday. Just perfect! And once again the staff a just sublime/amazing. Thank you for taking care of us. Highly highly recommend!

Immaculately presented and well located city centre hotel. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby offering both comfort food and more traditional Icelandic cuisine. Breakfast buffet was amply sized which set us up nicely for our day trips. Room was comfortable and suitably warm. Housekeeping always ensured it was well presented with what seemed like a million cushions each time we returned in the evening. Johanna who runs the apartments was the most helpful person ever, she went above and beyond I cannot thank her enough. The apartments were modern, spacious, clean & had everything you need such as cooking facilities which is a must in Iceland how expensive eating out is. A supermarket and bakery is across the road also a pizza takeaway. If you forget anything there is a box in reception to help you out. The views and amenities for this place are amazing. The apartment had absolutely everything you could want. The host was very happy to show us around and made us feel very welcome. The hot tub was just the "icing on the cake" for us - many thanks. I have never slept in such a comfy bed!! I would highly recommend both apartment & location x

All the staff were Great answers all our questions.Our Hotel room was a nice size & clean.Breakfast was fine wished the Orange Juice would have been freshly squeezed rather than out of a machine. We went on a few Trips that were Fantastic like the Flyover theatre & The Perlan Museum that we both Enjoyed. Iceland is an expensive place to visit. Eating out was pricey The Taxis were very Expensive

A lovely hotel, centrally located on Laugevegur. Although we’d emailed ahead to pay for early check in, our room wasn’t ready when we arrived but we were able to leave our luggage in the luggage room and explore the city. Laugevegur is a pedestrian street in the part where the hotel is so it isn’t possible to be picked up or dropped off directly outside. The bus stop for Flybus (and tour pick ups) is number 14 at the bottom of a reasonably steep hill - getting the suitcases up was a challenge...

It is always NICE IN ICELAND, and always good to start your vacation at Marina. Best hotel in Reykjavik.
