"We were told that breakfast started at 7.30. Our train was at 7.50 so would not get breakfast. This is very poor show for a STATION hotel. Fortunately the night porter came on duty and said he would make up a take away continental package. So much more helpful that the receptionist man. We had a lovely continental breakfast on the train. But surely a station hotel should be serving breakfast from at least 7.00?"

"In a really good location but could do with a little TLC. Restaurants, bars and shops just minutes away. All in all for what we paid it was very good value."

"I was very disappointed to be charged £12 for parking my car for one night, which I think is extortionate. The room was very nice and we got a good breakfast The bar closed at 22.00 which was a bit early for residents"

"Room a bit cold and adjusting heating didn't make much difference. Hotel is a few miles south of Fort William so I stayed in for dinner which I seriously regret. Food was mediocre at best and expensive for burnt pepperoni pizza overloaded with cheese and tomato paste and sausage unidentifiable as pepperoni. Staff uninterested in doing anything to help."

"Loved the classical style of this fine Victorian era hotel. We enjoyed the en suite room with a very comfortable bed and fantastic view of the castle and river. The photographs of people and days long gone that lined the hallways and stairways were very interesting indeed and definitely added to the essence of the hotel. Staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Lots to like at this well located hotel. Definitely would recommend for a comfortable stay in Inverness."

"The best hotel on our Scottish travels. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. My wife who is not very mobile found movement around the hotel excellent for her needs and staff helped in ensuring diable parking available Dinner and breakfast service and food choices also excellent."
