"Absolutely amazing, the spa is heaven, would be a dream if spa/gym were open longer or 24hours, or if they had a kids club so the parents could peacefully enjoy, the apartments came with everything you need and was luxury but they do need air con, thank you, I can’t wait to stay again!"

"Chose this hotel as it looked comfortable and right by the beach. Large room with terrace, stunning views. Hotel bit run down but with 2 years of covid we weren’t expecting perfection, however, the headboard def needs replacing, room 106. Staff all very nice, Annie cleaned our room, she was lovely. Evening staff left us sitting in practically empty restaurant while the ‘faffed’ with curtains and cutlery. Four people came in, sat down and were served straight away, I asked if someone would take our order, the young waiter said, oh, I,ll do yours at the same time, then carried on. An hour later we were told ours was being plated, even tho the other 4 people were finishing their meals…having said that, we enjoyed our stay."

"The hotel was in a beautiful location. It had lovely views and was opposite a beach. The staff were friendly and approachable without being over bearing. There was a good range of food at breakfast and a choice of two locations if you wanted to stay for lunch or dinner. "

"Very friendly manager and staff - nothing too much. Rooms were basic, but clean. Pool was a bit chilly but refreshing (They were hoping to get this fixed). Breakfast was good quality and worth the extra. Didn't eat in restaurant in the evening so cant comment. We found the Globe was fav for food.would recommend this hotel. The star that shone for us was Jane. She was extremely friendly and very accommodating. "

"Really recommend this hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived to when we left. Was delightful to be child free for a few days. Spa treatments were excellent. Come here if you're looking for a grown up beach break with spectacular views, lovely (albeit sometimes blustery, but that added to the fun) walks over the headlands and yummy restaurants in easy walking distance. We particularly liked being this side of Newquay for Crantock Beach behind the hotel, really really pretty. The crab and prawn sandwiches at the Fern Pit Cafe were to die for. But you were still easy walking distance to the Town Centre. Dinner and drinks at Lewinnick Lodge just up the road was fabulous. We also hopped on the coastal bus to Padstow for the afternoon one day which we also recommend, but make sure you book a taxi weeks in advance if you're coming home late (highly recommend Rick Stein's seafood restaurant there - nom!) as getting a taxi back was the only hassle of our trip."
