We had an absolutely fabulous stay at The Homestead. Everything about it is wonderful…. From the location to the beautiful room and breakfast area, but what stood out the most was our lovely friendly host Brit!! Lovely breakfasts, great tips on the area and great to chat to. Attention to detail at the Homestead is spot on. Thank you for everything!!!

Spectacular accommodation with every comfort taken care of. My wife and I visit Connecticut from England every year to see friends, and this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Grand yet welcoming, warm and inviting on the coldest of days, glorious bedrooms and public areas, charming historic detail everywhere you turn, gracious hosts and fabulous refreshments and breakfast. It was such a treat. We can't recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back.

Fabulous little guest house, wonderful welcome from the staff. Beautiful room, super comfy beds. The little touches like cheese and wine in the afternoon and hot cookies in the evening as well as a complimentary soft drink fridge really make this place special.

We had a very comfortable stay, the staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the garden and river access. It was an easy walk to the beach. We found the common areas inside very quaint, it felt like an olde worlde Grandmas house.

yes it was fresh but not free

This hotel has one of the best, if not the best, sites in Mystic. Our room had a great view of the river and swing bridge. Whilst there's no elevator and we were on the top floor help with our baggage on arrival and departure were readily and quickly available. Room was clean and comfortable and the bed provided a great night's sleep. Only slight let down was the included "continental" breakfast. But if you want a more varied or larger meal there are plenty of places nearby. Recommended.

Had an amazing stay. Breakfast was quite basic, but served us well. The room was well catered amd housed everything we needed. Location was great and close to the car ferry. Check out the oysters from accross the way....they are amazing and so fresh. Also had a meal at Alure, next door. Fantastic. Thanks

All the staff were really pleasant and helpful. Central heating very noisy as was the fridge freezer. The young lady serving breakfast (whose name I think was Tyrone) was exceptional) was definitely up for praise she was fantastic. Would stay there again next time I’m in the area

We had a short but very sweet stay. It was very expensive but was excellent.

Great location, staff were so helpful and accommodating! Got free water and coffee! Parking was very accessible! Great room!

Best hotel in the area. Tony’s restaurant is a destination in itself. Fabulous stay. Can’t count how many times we have booked. It’s our go to in Connecticut.
