"Location is the best part. Close to beaches, easy to get to excursions. Apartments were standard, some kitchen appliances a little old. Drying racks in the balcony were helpful. Good swimming pool."

"We hardly left the hotel all week as everything there was so pleasant. Set within dramatic scenery, the hotel has really impressive planting which I loved. The breakfast had an amazing choice (cava for breakfast!), and the staff were all very nice."

Beautiful, rustic hotel close to the centre of town. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were well looked after by the friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic too!

From the first moment of our arrival to the minute we left, the staff were phenomenal and really made this feel like a special holiday! They really could not do enough for us!

We spent a week in this new, tastefully designed hotel. The highlight for us was the ‘chill area’ with its architectural awnings, white curtains and comfortable loungers. The only downside, in our opinion, was Puerto del Carmen itself which is very commercialised. However there are some restaurants with nice views overlooking the port. We hired a car for three days - at a very reasonable price organised by the hotel - so we enjoyed exploring the island and finding unspoiled beaches and coves for...

It was our 4th stay at the hotel and we felt at home straight away. We had a beaitiful suite overlooking the sea and even had sun beds on our terrace. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and had a vast choice of everything you could ever want. We had a super time and can't wait to go again next year.

The hotel was lovely. Its motto is "Charm and Sensitivity" and it lives up to the title. It really is a very charming place. Everywhere in the hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained. We could leave the patio doors to our balcony open and wake up to hear the waves on the beach below - very romantic. The housekeeping staff were lovely and Monica at reception very helpful.

Had a lovely time at the Mencey. Staff absolutely lovely and so friendly, hotel both grand in its colonnaded porches and cool inner courtyard, and comfortable, with many places to have drinks and food in the shade and chill. Spa very well kitted out (extra €18 a day) breakfast spread faultless. Grilled Seafood served on the pool terrace is particularly good.
Pool is great, using salt water instead of chlorine. Food in both terrace and main restaurant delicious.
Only note of warning, they are...

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and this time we stayed longer because we like it. This time let me concentrate on the little things
The room looked nice with nice proper tumblers and ,new this visit , tea and coffee in the room, nice fittings, hot water in vast supply.. Packets of tea and coffee replenished every day unlike some where one "ration" has to last the stay.
Sit down in the dining section to a clean tablecloth and...

Overall myself and my girlfriend enjoyed a brilliant stay at this hotel, all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Our room had a decent view but wanted an upgrade spoke with reception and gave us a few to choose from with a price of course but well worth it as we got a fantastic panaramic view. If your taking a taxi to the airport I'd buy a ticket from reception as it's a fixed cost of €26... also complimentary room after checkout helps if you have a evening flight home but want to...

From the moment we arrived to the time we left the friendly attentive staff made us feel welcome and at home. Even the General manager made daily rounds to talk to guests and listen to their comments. Decorated in a colourful Mexican hacienda style it is beautifully appointed throughout with a number of quiet secluded areas in the grounds around the hotel and pool. The pool area is delightful, has an island and waterfall in front of a covered grotto, a children's pool and includes areas shaded...

We had a lovely stay at the jardines de nivaria- a fantastic hotel in a great location right in the centre of Adeje. It has direct access on to the beach and the row of shops and bars in Adeje. The recent refurbishment means the rooms are clean and modern but the hotel still retains the Art Deco vibe in the common areas. The staff are what make this hotel truly 5star though - always friendly, helpful and polite and we could not fault them. The hotel is aimed at the older clientele - which suited...

The hotel work force is very efficient and work hard to make your stay worthwhile even though we have spent more time at the beach than by the hotel pools.
The downside - smoking allowed by the pools and sitting/eating places. Very unpleasant.

I want to go back again, loved it. All staff very friendly, pool excellent, food fantastic. Very spacious rooms and balcony, fabulous views over the bay. Great beach, very safe and clean.
I would recommend this hotel, a bit of luxury.

We booked a last minute short stay and after seeing all the positive reviews chose this place.
Only ten minutes from the airport via motorway, we were greeted at the hotel driveway entrance by a very welcoming gentleman who was part of the concierge team who directed the taxi to the hotel reception and made us immediately feel welcome and at ease. On arriving at the hotel entrance the other members of his team took our bags and we checked in at reception, where we had the pleasant surprise of...
