"Staff, amenities were great. Location was easy enough to get to and the room was spacious."

"It was the perfect gateway into our Ryokan/onsen experience with beautiful & spacious accommodations in a super private and relaxing setting. Having our own onsen with view of the mountains was an absolute dream after a week in the big cities. The attentive staff were exceptional and brought dinner to our room that we cooked over the coals for a unique experience. Overall an incredible retreat to come back to after a busy day of onsen hopping. Truly a first class experience!"

"This makes for a great Ryokan experience. Staff were really helpful and you won't want to miss this Japanese onsen experience."

"Staff is nice, room is nice and there is an Onsen available."

"建物は古いが、きちんとリノベされてるし、部屋も清潔で問題ありませんでした。 お風呂までの距離は少し遠いなと感じましたが、ロビーからの眺めも良く、暗い雰囲気もないので満足です。 人におすすめしたいホテルでした。"

"It was a lovely visit at a place we would happily return to."

"期待はずれでした。 料理が、塩辛い。コーヒー苦すぎる。"

"We Had a great time there"

"I found it comfortable and well maintained, but a little old and could use some updating. But it’s a good value in a wonderful location!"

"The food was incredible and the onsen were relaxing"

"This is a ryokan where the rooms have been updated but the onsen baths are still original, as is most of the town. The staff was extremely helpful. The cooks were very accommodating for gluten and dairy allergies, the breakfasts and dinners were delicious. There are two private baths you can reserve in addition to the male and female baths. The town is cute, you can walk all around it in a half hour, plus time for soft serve and coffee."

"Nice experience Will come again next time"

"Everyone was so nice to me, I felt like a king; and the property was so beautiful. "

"The stay was beautiful and the onsen in the back was a dream for the people out there that want something not so public. As a heads up this is kind of like a campground so you can hear others in their places and the walls of the cabin are a bit thin but didnt cause any problems or disruptions. Definitely a great stay to get away from the busy cities."

"Very friendly staff. Very spacious with all the amenities that you would need."

"Awesome place and hideaway. Really beautiful and well designed. "

"Very nice Onsen :)"

"Nice ryokan, quiet and clean. The staff are very helpful. They have both public and private onsen."

"It was an amazing experience to stay here. Traditional ryokan in such a beautiful setting. The staff was super friendly and nice, too."

"Beautiful, tranquil property with an excellent dinner and star observatory show "
