Limited English. I don’t think they want to cater to westerners, other than the dinner menu nothing else is translated. I had a hard time with the a/c control which is all in japonese. The private baths are great. The food was wonderful on the first night but not as good on the second , same with breakfast. My first dinner and breakfast were wonderful , second Wasn’t as good. The a/c was right over my bed so the air blows at the bed, not too comfortable. The bed sinks in the middle. We took a taxi from Kumamoto, it took 2 hours. The private baths were great. There are no snacks in the rooms and nothing to order, bring some !
