"Underwhelming. Pools were is constant partial shade by surrounding buildings. No daily service as advertised. Only 1 service during 9 night stay. No amenity pack- eg no shower cap, no body lotion. Not deserve 4.5 star rating. Positives- very spacious apartment and very quiet. Easy walking distance to Macrossen St."

"Great location right in the rainforest. Pool and swimming in creek were great ways to cool off. Cabins were large and surrounded by large plants."

"Loved this quaint, well-equipped motel in the heart of Port Douglas, where everything was in walking distance. The room was large with a nice kitchenette. There was also a barbecue and outdoor kitchen that was well-equipped& laundry room. We may have used this if there weren’t so many great restaurants in town. The front desk person was knowledgeable & helpful with our stay, including booking transportation to the airport in Cairns. If you’re looking for something unique & convenient that’s affordable, then this is your place!"

"Would have benefitted from luggage carrier with rain protection given distance from parking lot to hotel. Apart from that, everything was wonderful and as advertised."

"The location of the hotel was excellent right in the middle of Port Douglas can walk everywhere. The main part of the room was quite small so it felt very cramped with our luggage. The bathroom was large, and the shower was very comfortable. The one major drawback for us was that there was a lot of scares climbing up and down to the second floor. Due to our very large and full luggage, it was very difficult climbing up and down."

"It is a lovely property with an excellent location. The pool was perfect for cooling down and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Booking in last minute on a public holiday made the check-in a little fraught, but it all worked out. The unit itself was nice, but the kitchen is very sparsely equipped and a lot of the kitchen utensils were put away dirty, which was unfortunate. We couldn’t get Wifi during our entire stay, so have a good data package. "

"Nice property but AC needs maintenance. The AC in our suite dripped and was causing water damage to the wall. Pool is nice."
