"Great location, but the budget room (no 3) was small and stuffy, the floor was not stable, I didn't sleep a wink, had to have the window open for fresh air and then the kitchen fans started up and are very noisy. My business partner paid an extra £20 and his room was lovely. "

"Beautiful boutique hotel. Hard to know where to start, property itself is stunning, decor in all areas is excellent. On arrival reception staff were very welcoming and informative. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Bar is good, prices reasonable and excellent choice. Spa is well appointed. Fantastic evening meal in Blok restaurant, food superb, staff attentive, informative and friendly. Breakfast also very good, again staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Overall, an outstanding place for a couple to take a relaxing break"

"- The guy that checked us in really didnt want to be at work that day. Was completely uninterested - Booked the room for 3 but couch wasn't set up - Couch bed mattress was horrendous. Shower head barely worked - Cleaning process doesnt follow industry standard and its not communicated to guests. Just put a poster in the room instead of a tiny one at reception. - blown a fuse at night, and stuf wasnt able to access fuse box. We had to move rooms which was quite annoying and time consuming "

"The general cleanliness and condition of this hotel was poor. The floor of the room was sloping and was quite dissorientating when walking into the bathroom. In the bathroom, the shower curtain was stained and looked unclean. The wastebin looked very poor with a rusted lid. Bathroom floor not very clean and the grouting was missing from the corners of the bath. The paint was peeling of the inside of the windowsill. In the room, the kettle was grubby and had to be washed before use, the glasses also had greasy prints on them and also had to be washed before use. The headboard was marked (small tears). The towels and bed linen were clean and we had a comfortable nights sleep. Certainly not worth the money we paid, and as it is, we cannot recommend staying here. On a plus, the staff were very polite and accommodating. "
