"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"Second time visiting here and we decided to go for one of the suites. Definitely worth the money we celebrated my birthday and was left a lovely little note with a treat on the bed as well as the bath in the room! Very clean and made use of the pool in the evening which was quiet we went about 8pm had it to ourselves. Breakfast was a little slow as we only 1 member of staff on but apart from that good selection. Everyone was really friendly. Would recommend"
