Stayed at this hotel several times now, close to the train station so suited us just fine for a convenient mini break to London.

It was beautifully clean. Tastefully decorated and cosy room . A very comfortable bed.. The downside was that they now bring your breakfast to your room. We asked for it at 8 am they brought it at 8.50.Apart from a delicious Danish the rest was pretty naff, nothing tasty or hot. The overnight car park opposite the hotel cost £18!

very nice staff the receptionist were very helpful and friendly room was nice very clean and bed was very comfortable wish i could have brought bed home with me the breakfast was very good overall i would highly recommend the grand sapphire and next time i am in croydon i will be booking a room here

Although I have stayed at 5 star hotels on several occasions, I was amazed by the standard of service of this hotel. All the hotel staff were extremely polite and gave the true meaning to the word "valued" customer. From the first time I entered the hotel it was a different experience all together. Despite the good service at other 5 star hotels, I could always find a small detail missing. I am not picky, but when it comes to top service I know what to expect, and notice when something, as small...

Valet and doorman greeted us with a smile and remembered our name each time we left and returned! Wait staff in the dining rooms were so friendly and very attentive. Beautifully decorated for Christmas!

This hotel is superb , the staff were excellent form arrival to departure and there was nothing they wouldn’t do.

Can't get a better location, near to Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Sq, Buckingham Palace...the hotel itself is immaculate, the double room was of a reasonable size, the bed so comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Shower was excellent, complimentary drinks on arrival and cookies and cranberry juice / water in the room. Downsides..not many, view was terrible and there was a slightly unusual smell in the room which you only really noticed first entering.

The staff are so welcoming and the property is amazing. The garden is lovely and the room was very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Special shoutout for Moamen who was very helpful and welcoming to us. Thank you

From our arrival at the property we felt very welcome and comfortable. From Marks initial greeting on reception to all orher aspects of our stay we were extremely happy. This business , 52.years in the making with Marks father and uncle is a very slick family run outfit. All staff we encountered including chambermaids were exceptional. They could all not be more helpful and gave valuable information where needed about things like where to get the Uber boat from rather than walking to the City...
