"Excellent reception staff. Pleasant room and comfortable bed. Very nice bathroom with shower cubicle and bath. But fitted dispenser next to wash basin contains hand lotion and can easily be mistaken for soap. Everything was very clean. No USB-C charger port, although this is now the international standard. Just one USB-A port. No bedside sockets or charger ports. If Premier Inn can manage that, you would expect that at a much more high end hotel. Pleasant bar and friendly staff. Breakfast was good, although we were sat at one end of the dining area and could not see and was not made aware of the offerings of fruit and yogurt on the other counter."
Strand Palace Hotel

"We enjoyed the option to save money with one of their smaller (well, tiny) rooms since we weren't planning to spend any time in them except to sleep. The hotel itself was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go -- within easy walking distance to the Palace Theatre and His Majesty's Theatre -- and for general exploring and pub hopping. We only had breakfast twice in their main restaurant, but ended up almost every night for a pint in their Joe Allen restaurant."

"Overall, I had a very positive experience at this hotel. The concierge team was exceptionally helpful throughout my stay, and the self check-in/check-out process was convenient and efficient. The room was clean upon arrival and was maintained well each day. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, offering a satisfying selection of traditional English breakfast items, and there was always ample seating available. One area for improvement would be the coffee machine in the breakfast area. During my stay, it did not appear to be functioning consistently, resulting in guests having to wait for assistance and coffee corrections. Additionally, some of the room furnishings, particularly the closet, ironing board, and iron, felt a bit dated compared to the overall quality of the hotel. While these items were functional, refreshing them would further enhance the guest experience. That said, these were relatively minor observations in an otherwise enjoyable stay. I would happily return to this hotel and appreciate the excellent service provided by the staff. With a few updates to some of the room amenities, the experience could be even better in the future."

"The hotel is well situated and really nice inside. Staff were very helpful after we requested for a cot and was done immediately. However, as we were with our 9 months old we found it a bit difficult to warm up his food as there were no microwave and one staff even told us that outside food was not allowed. It’s not like a 9 months old will be able to have a steak obviously needs baby food and need to be warmed up. But we did receive help at the end. It was just this bit that has put us off."

"The hotel was under renovation when we stayed for a 5 day vacation. That did not bother us as we were out during the schedule d work time, the location is excellent, walkable to Kensington Palace , many restaurants, Hyde Park and 2 underground stations. I would stay again"
