"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"Hotel is nice, rooms are a bit dated but lovely and clean which is what is most important for me. I stayed on my own in a single room for training course nearby so didn’t eat at the hotel but the breakfast did smell amazing. The single room was decent size with single bed, wardrobe, set of drawers and a dressing table with mirror and a kettle with tea, coffee and sugar and I was left a nice pack of 2 chocolate cookies (thank you for that little gesture) then a table with the tv on it. A door that leads to the bathroom that was nice and clean, basic shower (runs off the bath taps) there was a fan and hairdryer inside the wardrobe too. Decent size carpark, Overall a lovely stay, would definitely stay again if I was to come back for more training courses."

"We stayed at Shrigley Hall and had a mixed but generally enjoyable experience. The infinity pool, evening (dusk) setting, and massage were all excellent highlights of the stay. The hotel is in a beautiful location and the bathroom in our room was very nice. However, the room itself felt quite basic and lacked comfortable seating, and it was quite a long walk from the main hotel. There was also no phone in the room, which was an issue as we couldn’t contact reception about a missing door lock. Overall, some great facilities and experiences, but a few areas that could be improved."
