"I really enjoyed my stay here. It’s such a lovely old building with so much charm and character. The bed was really comfortable, and after a long day of being out exploring, the bathtub was absolutely amazing. It was just what I needed! The little bar was so quaint and cozy, and the woman working behind the bar was so sweet and kind. She really added to the experience. The walls are a little thin, but honestly, that comes with staying in a beautiful old building, and I think the charm more than makes up for it. I think this would be a perfect little retreat for a couple or even a solo traveller. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!"

"Hotel room was a good size and the room was clean. Breakfast was really nice and staff were friendly. The only downside was finding parking was quite hard and had to walk quite a way with a lot of bags."

"Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The grounds around the hotel were beautiful with mature trees. Overnight charging for electric cars was possible although we did not need it. The sauna and steam room were well maintained and hot. Breakfast coffee was dire - undrinkable. There were no oats but there was fruit and yogurt as well as cooked items and a selection of pastries."

"The hotel was excellent and the location was perfect close to the centre and the beach . We had the breakfast one morning which was excellent. The staff were lovely and helpful. The pool was very good as well. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Overall, this wee hotel was excellent. We stayed there 3 nights with my kids. Staffs are outstanding, we had to check in after midnight. After wondering around the pub, bit worried, then call to their number and staff let us checked in. They were extremely helpful and friendly . I am not sure about customer service desk in the pub. Sometimes, bar staffs are little rude .. when hotel guest asks them for anything .. mistakenly! The hotel is in great location, lots of amenities around, lots of parking."

"I wouldn't recommend room 101 purley because it was next to some doors which bang everytime they are used. Room was spacious. Bathroom large, with powerful shower over the bath. Toilet paper was very thin! Breakfast was nice and good quality."
