The Good:
Lots of beds. We slept 6 adults, 2 youngsters, and had room to sleep at least 3 more adults in the loft upstairs. Would be great if the kids were old enough to make it up the treacherous ladder to get to the loft. Teenagers/older kids would love it up there.
Kitchen has very good stove and oven, all modern. However, there is very little room in the kitchen for more than 1 person. 2 people max for any kind of effective cooking and cleaning.
Building was very warm, and the tiles are heated. Took a while to figure out the 'right' temperature. Solid construction throughout means you don't hear your roommates walking around upstairs (but you do hear the next-door neighbors loud voices occasionally).
Location is close to Elk Ave for restaurants, and very close to the shell gas station where you can catch a shuttle.
We enjoyed the living room space, it was comfy, albeit seating is a bit awkward. It's not a large space, as the kitchen bar and cabinets take up a large space, but it works fine.
The Bad:
Shared hot tub required negotiating hot-tub time with next-door-unit guests (same building, different house).
Because the hot tub is not located directly behind the next-door unit and not _this_ unit, needed to climb over 6 feet of snow to get to the hot tub. Only to be an issue during large snow falls.
Kitchen was missing some basic tools like wine opener and dish washer liquid. Few other things that I cannot recall at the moment.
Overall:
It's a nice place and we enjoyed our stay there. Thank you.
Would stay again, but should be able to find a cheaper option with similar amenities if looking early enough.
