"This is a special house. It is far more grand than it appears from the outside. Inside, soaring ceilings, beautiful woodwork and impressive gallery quality timber furniture pieces abound. "Our group of 5 ladies stayed at the Hot Toddy for two nights and we wished we had booked it for at least one more night to take advantage of all the amenities. We came down to spend a day at the hot springs which was very close by. The property was adorable, comfortable, clean and had beautiful scenery. We loved our trip so much and would definitely come back to this property on our next trip to Pagosa."

"Second time staying at this house and skiing Wolf Creek. Great location to the small town of South Fork. Easy checkin and out. No real issues with the property and easily fit 12 adults / older teens and 1 baby. Great hot tub after the slopes and fire pit down by the river. Great views from house as well. Use Rocky Mountain Ski for your gear they’re great. Will be back again and hopefully not take 6 years like the last time."

"This is a great location and lived up to listing details. Coffee on the river in the morning was an added bonus!!! With that said, it is extremely noisy from the unit upstairs. The voices, dropping, the banging and the heavy footsteps and running can sometimes be a bit jarring."
