This is a truly charming and welcoming place. We arrived in the very early hours, almost at dawn, having flown in to Gatwick on a slightly delayed flight. Booked in advance and having contacted the owner they arranged everything perfectly for us, including adding an extra bed which was made up in advance and looked very cosy. Comfortable room. Easy check in and check out. Is very close to Gatwick with bus stop outside. Easy access to airport but you can hear the aircraft taking off.

Lovely hotel, modern throughout, and incredibly comfortable beds. Super convenient location very close to Gatwick Airport. We received a discount voucher upon check-in for food and drink, which was a nice touch. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and checking out was a breeze.

Quick check-in with friendly staff. Nice clean room with big bed and large screen TV. Good buffet style breakfast from an early time so you can have breakfast and catch the shuttle to the airport.

Great location great food, great price, value for money

Absolutely beautiful property! Added little touches, powerful shower, bed was extremely comfortable. Loved sitting out the front and watching the squirrels, planes taking off, even little frogs. Had a lovely choice for breakfast and plenty of tea! Enjoyed talking to Sharon she was beyond superb & so attentive! Security man was also lovely to talk to. Short but a great stay

We arrived and got greeted with a smile and a lovely lady told us we had been upgraded as it was our honeymoon! We then got to the room and it was beautifully decorated with petals and a bottle of Prosecco was delivered along with a fruit platter! The service was impeccable!!

Alex was a wonderful host. He welcomed us and made us feel very comfortable. Our room was updated and very clean. The place is out in the country with pastures around it. It is very peaceful, but you do have the sound of airplanes as it is near Gadwick Airport

Nice hotel and very good value for money. Yes, it’s a little dated but everything is very clean and tidy plus a very spacious private car park outside. There is a nice pub literally next door plus plenty of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. Would definitely come back again.

Spent a fantastic couple of nights at A Room with a View for Valentine's weekend and we were both over the moon with our choice! From the moment you walk in it felt welcoming and cosy, yet had all the mod-cons and more. My husband loved the cooked breakfast (and the coffee machine!) and I felt very spoilt, being gluten free, with all sorts of specialist items for me to enjoy.
