"Purdy Lodge was the perfect base for our 5 day stay in Northumberland. The property is well located, just off the A1. The room was good, given the price. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly at all times - they have clearly been well trained to be very customer focused. The breakfast options were excellent and the food very tasty and well presented. The evening meal options - on the restaurant and the cafe - were excellent and the meals were very tasty and well presented. Overall, Purdy Lodge was brilliant. "

"Very helpful booked through Expedia which I will never do again. I booked a non pet friendly room class or twin. When I spoke to the hotel we had been booked a pet friendly room. They said this is what Expedia do but they were really great and managed to get another room for us but we had to pay another £50 in future will book with the hotel. "
