"A beautiful property that was perfect for our needs. There were five adults and four children in our group and it catered, and was accessible, for all. Supermarkets are close, the views are fantastic, and the house itself was clean and tidy. We had to switch the timer off on the heating as it was very cold with it on but the house warmed up very quickly and it was really warm after a while. We would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone."

We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking. "A lovely spot for a few days away to relax and unwind. The property was clean and well-maintained and was a lovely base to explore beautiful Northumberland. The only downside was the noise from the adjacent busy road but it it did quieten down late evening. Would stay again"

"We recently stayed at May Cottage and it was just what we needed. The cottage is lovely and much bigger than we anticipated, especially the bedrooms - they’re a really big! Kitchen has everything you need and even though we had taken hand wash and washing up liquid etc, it was all provided. Even dishwasher tablets! The views from the garden are exceptional and it was very quiet. We loved sitting watching the families of swallows flying in and out of their nests and listening their babies...
