"Spa facilities are great, everything spotless and well kept. Breakfast was lovely - definitely worth £5 tray charge to have it brought to your room."

The Beach House

The Beach House

10/10 Excellent
"A lovely 3 night stay at this very English Hotel. It is a very old building so don't expect everything to be 100%, there will always be maintenance required. We stayed in The Orchard Room (Room 21) and it was plenty big enough for 2 of us and with all the extras we could use - Canned drinking water, choice of Teas, coffee, Biscuits plenty of Hot Water, good quality hand lotion, soaps and shampoo. The room faced the car park inland but was quiet and we slept soundly. It's an easy walk to the beachfront for a stroll, don't expect sand it's all pebbles or large rocks. Views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight and the Needles. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no lift to any floors, you will need to carry your cases, but as stated it is an old building. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast choices were excellent and served freshly cooked."

10/10 Excellent
"We booked 3 rooms. All were beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Every member of staff was extremely polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was outstanding with so much choice and all our evening meals in the restaurant, extremely well prepared and tasted delicious. The Kings Arms is well positioned in the centre of Christchurch but with the added bonus of a bus stop directly outside and another a short walk away. On arrival we didn’t have any problem parking in the hotel’s designated bays. Lovely walk across from the hotel to castle ruins, church and harbour. Looking forward to a return visit."
