Very busy hotel but brilliant location, you can walk to most places and the main train station for the airport. The rooms are a bit small and basic but for the price and location they are good value. Really good breakfasts which is useful as eating out is fairly expensive compared to the UK.
An interesting and very well situated hotel.
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and the room comfortable.
The bathroom , however , was small.
We would indeed recommend this hotel, it has lots of atmosphere.
"Central location, close to some of the main sights"
A lovely place to visit for a few days with plenty to see and do. The historic sights were interesting and there are lots of restaurants and coffee bars to choose from. It is not as expensive as we thought and prices are comparable to most European capital cities.
Enjoyed modern Danish room, very comfortable lobby & charming roof terrace (on 2nd level - not truly "roof"). Interesting lower level restaurant serving great hamburgers & milkshakes. Staff very friendly & helpful. Interesting lobby in that bar serves as registration desk. There is complimentary glass of wine in lobby each evening. Only negative are rooms opening on rear courtyard that are noisy because of trash bins (think shattering glass). All in all we loved the hotel and would highly recommend with caveat about rear courtyard.
Pocket Guide: Copenhagen Copenhagen City Centre Hotels
The formerly fortified centre is now encircled by parks and criss-crossed with paved pedestrian streets. Nearly all of Copenhagen’s sights are here, including Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Castle, the National Art Museum, Tivoli Gardens, the Royal Danish Theatre and the Round Tower. The Little Mermaid sculpture sits by the harbour in Churchill Park. Strøget has many restaurants and shops, and remains at the centre of the city's night life.
