"Extremely helpful & accommodating staff. Bar is beautiful! Breakfast was very nice. Room was a bit of a let down, felt a bit run down & bed was uncomfortable. But was a fire exit room so maybe that’s why?"

"We had a lovely stay at the Castle Hotel. The staff were so friendly and really helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom and bathroom though small were well equipped and very clean. Overall a very pleasant place to stay."

"Incredibly dog friendly hotel with beautiful grounds for your dog to explore. Beautifully decorated downstairs and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Only downside was the breakfast; they only offered a buffet style with not a massive choice to choose from and I'd been looking forward to a big hearty full English after having climbed Snowdon the previous day. I was also gutted that our room didn't have a bath, only a shower, as again, after the Snowdon climb a soak in a hot bath would have been ideal. So, if you want a bath make sure to request a room that has one. The hand wash/body wash/shampoo and body lotion is all provided by The White Company and smells delicious! "

"Parking is plentiful and safe, the staff are helpful, pleasant and professional. Room was clean modern and comfortable. Not a lot around such as shops but beautiful scenery. The hotel has a great bar and restaurant . "
