Tired but comfortable
I booked this hotel due to it’s location to the train station and a music gig we were going to. It’s in a very busy part of town but makes everything easy to get to. Booked with some trepidation having read other reviews. It’s not the Ritz but the couple at the reception desk were very friendly and helped us with where we should head for lunch and transport for the gig that evening. The hallway outside our room smelled a little damp but the room was clean and serviceable. It’s not the Ritz but if you need somewhere to sleep in a great location in Köln (great shopping nearby!!) then this is great. Can also recommend the burger place downstairs

This hotel is in a really great location if you're looking for nightlife and food. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Cathedral and the rest of the old parts. The room doesn't have AC but there was a fan in the closet that saved us. We also had a quaint balcony that we shared with three other rooms. The shower had really great water pressure and the beds were comfortable enough. It's a good place to stay if you're just looking for a place to sleep at night.

Hotel Staff are super friendly I came in very late at night after the check in time, they made sure that my room was ready and left the keys at the next door neighbor, Room was ok could use better pillows and blanket, Hotel location is excellent between two Tran stations and walking distance from a lot of activities. Will definitely rebook them.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly and extended the breakfast time to suit the guests during the very busy carnival weekend!

Not a 4 star!
This hotel is fine if you do not intend to spend much time in it. Small rooms, no bar and the reception desk is in the same room as the breakfast come seating area . Good position for trams and Christmas markets. Definitely a 3 Star.

Competitive Rate but a bit warm in summer.
Older hotel. Small but clean room. Modest interior. Since I was traveling alone that was not a problem. I just needed a place to rest for one night. Room rate was very competitive. Biggest problem was I was there in July and it was around 90 degrees that day and they have no air conditioning the balcony door opens up to other rooms and a staircase and was not secure so you could not open a window to cool it down without opening yourself up.

Great Location, but not 4 star standard.
This hotel was a disappointment considering the price. The room was small (triple room), the air con was set to Saraha Desert throughout and could not be changed. Balconies were shared with neighbours which does not fill you with security. In general for a 4 star it was really poor, we had paint peeling off the walls and very tired decor. Wifi was either not working or snail pace.

Hotel location is excellent!! But it is the only good feature. Otherwise rooms are old and super noisy because of the karaoke bar downstairs. Internet is miserable.

City hotel on the Main Street.
Loud noise from the bar on the first floor could be heart three floors above. But, if you are tired enough you can sleep. The staff are helpful and promote tranquility. What else would you expect.

Cheap but not cheerful
The hotel is located very centrally in Cologne and as a result is extremely noisy. The room was clean but rather tired. It really needed air conditioning, especially as the noise meant that the windows had to be kept closed. There is a karaoke bar on site which does not help things.

Hotel does not sit on its own but is in the middle of the block. Loud bars downstairs and busy party district. Not good for family but easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants, the Rhine and the Dom. Room was not airconditioned and was extremely hot at night in the summer on the street side since it had the afternoon and evening sun. Loud outside until late at night because it was a party district. Breakfast was expensive. Easier to walk to a cafe/bakery for breakfast.

Das Hotel befindet sich sehr zentral in der Kölner Innenstadt / Altstadt. Für Leute die gerne abends raus möchten ist es optimal! Unser Zimmer war hinten raus und somit sehr ruhig, das einzige was störte ist das die Putzfrauen um 9 Uhr morgens anfingen Lärm zu machen, das hätte man wirklich leiser hinbekommen! Sonst gerne wieder

Dirty and drab: stay somewhere else
The hotel description and pictures on hotels.com looked quite inviting: quaint, cozy, and simple -- what I'd expect from a 3-star hotel in this price range. However, the hotel is nothing like that. The hallway lights are broken, making it hard to navigate at night. I found insects in my room and had to get bug spray. The curtains were falling down. The walls have a lot of big, dark stains. There were balls of dust and flakes of what I assumed were pain all over the floor. The chairs were torn up so badly, I didn't want to sit on them. There was a hole in the bathroom wall. Whoever took the photos that are on the hotel listing either has really good photography skills or knows how to use photoshop. To others looking for a hotel: Please, save yourself the hassle and book somewhere else. To the hotel owners/managers: I hope you are ashamed and embarrassed that this is the condition of the hotel you operate. Please clean the hotel and take care of the rooms -- would you sleep in your own hotel?

Отель удобно расположен, рядом есть крытая парковка. Стойка регистрации работает до 20ч, после вы самостоятельно приходите дергаете сильно входную дверь, входите и справа висит ящик. Набираете код и там вас ждёт дальнейшая инструкция и ключи от номера. А у т-ром уже вас регистрируют на ресепшене. Завтрак стандартный. Всем хорошего отдыха.

Mostly a nice stay, only the WiFi didn’t work in our room, we had to go to the lobby to use it. And the check in time (3pm) seemed a bit late to us. Other than that, we liked the room and the balcony. The room was clean. The staff were friendly. Would stay again.

Det låg på en gata med restauranger och pubbar men rummen låg in mot gården så man stördes inte mycket av det. Personalen va mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma .

Sentral lokasjon til Ubahn, shopping og middag rett rundt hjørnet, men slitt og skittent på rommet og spesielt badet. Fant avklipte tånegler på gulvet og det luktet vondt på badet i perioder... selvom det var ikkerøyk så var det nok ingen som overholdt dette.

대로변에 있고 주말같은경우 근처 클럽들의 소음으로 인해 방해를 받으실 수 있습니다. 체크인 카운터가 늦게까지 운영하지 않아서 레이트 체크인 경우 붙어있는 연락처로 직접 연락하여 체크인 방법을 물어보셔야 합니다. 그 외에는 엘리베이터도 있고 역에서도 가까워 편하게 잘 지냈습니다.

Der service und das Personal an sich waren sehr langsam und man musste für alles sehr lange warten. Am letzten Abend ging undere Toilettenspülung kaputt, dies sei anscheinend schon einmal passiert. Die Lage ist top und nahe am Zentrum. Unringt von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und kulinarischer Vielfalt.
