The apartment itself was fairly basic and a bit dusty in some areas, but comfortable and spacious enough for two people, with TVs in the living room and bedroom. The bathroom was clean and the shower was very good. The free coffee machine and cakes in the lobby were much appreciated, although a bit more coffee in the apartment would be nice. Despite windows towards a busy intersection, the rooms felt very quiet. Within walking distance to city centre, U-bahn and local area with restaurants. It was a shocker when we found out that we could enjoy huge cups of free coffee in the lobby every day, which was generous. Not bad or good: A card key was not working properly (can be exchanged), breakfast was equal or less than average, it was a sofa bed and was too soft, some staffs were very kind and friendly and some staffs were not. Probably no air conditioning (heating only). It was convenient to have access to a fridge, a microwave and a laundry room just in case. There is also a collapsible laundry rack in the room. The breakfast was simple but good. The pet fee was extremely reasonable if you’re bringing a dog or cat. There were some board games, a foosball table and a piano in the lobby to help pass the time. The location was quiet and away from tourist traffic but still within walking distance of attractions such as the chocolate museum. It is also right around the corner from a Rewe grocery store. My only complaint was the front desk. They were understaffed so check in ended up taking 40 mins.
