Point A Glasgow

Point A Glasgow

10/10 Excellent
"All the staff at this hotel were outstanding, from Abimbola and Christine working nights on Reception, via the check in/out staff during the daytime, to the tall young man and his female colleague in charge of breakfast. My accessible room was clean. I'm not a wheelchair user, but some of the spaces might have been slightly tight if I had been, and it was disappointing that there were no towels smaller than ginormous bath towels available! The in room safe didn't work, and staff's offer to keep valuables in a safe accessed via Reception not ideal. Nonetheless, this conveniently located hotel is somewhere I will stay again :-)"

Golden Jubilee Hotel

Golden Jubilee Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Room was very spacious, modern and well maintained. The pool was clean and warm although the changing facilities are a little cramped and could be better for changing a baby in. The bar and restaurant both provided excellent service - food was tasty, came out quickly and staff were very polite and attentive. Parking was fine - managed to get a space relatively quickly mid afternoon (3ish) but was a very full car park due to it being attached to the hospital. Was much emptier after 4.30pm and before 10am. Overall an enjoyable stay, close enough to Glasgow's West end but far enough away that its a bit cheaper than a city centre hotel."

"Very quiet for the city centre. Staff were all lovely, and knowledgeable. One issue... The pillows are feathers, and none available for swaps if feathers or the height doesn't suit you. I get they are environmentally better, but not great for wheezers. But having a handful of other pillows would help. I opted for a clean bath towel in a clean pillow case. Sorted. But it was clean, everything worked and quiet."

Moxy Glasgow SEC

8/10 Good
"Everything was very good and its proximity to OVO Hydro was great, Only negative was that the bar food offering is not great and the pizzas were too doughy for amount of toppings and we ended up leaving it. Other than that we had a great stay, rooms were spotless, beds were good and room was excellent too. We would definitely return here, should we be visiting SEC in the future. I would also say that the Premier Inn across the bridge was £170 and Moxy was less than £100 and was well worth it, whereas Premier Inn was obviously profiteering."
