"Quaint "
This B&B is in an idyllic setting with wonderful views. The converted barns are cosy and welcoming. There are complimentary tea/coffee facilities, including a fridge and also complimentary toiletries. (My only negative was that the pillows were too hard for my liking but I'm sure if I'd have asked this could have been changed) The breakfast is amazing. We had fresh orange and a fruit bowl waiting for us I'm the conservatory. (Juicy blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, pomegranate and melon) followed by a full English with toast. (Ceriels were also available). The owner was very friendly and gave us plenty of info on surrounding areas and places of interest.

"raithwaite hotel"
went here for a 50th birthday with my husband.got there as was given a room with disabled bathroom. Went to reception who changed me the room. We were in the lodge. Nice rooms but nothing to rave about especially for the money £253.00 and that was not including breakfast not really worth the money. Just stayed at hotel du vin n Harrogate had a real swanky room for a lot less. Did not stay for a meal or breakfast .went to a restaurant in sand send for eating. Bed was comfy .Bathroom nice but again nothing swanky. The room was cold. Tried to sort heating but did not really warm the room. Overall nice but very pricey for what you get.

The apartment was clean, the couple that owned it lived in an attached apartment. They were kind and helpful. They supplied milk, bread, tea, coffee, sugar, butter, jam, good for light breakfast.

"Been there never stayed there"
I have been to Ramside Hall many times for events but have never stayed until last week. The room was great (wardrobe very antiquated, tatty and needs changing) bed huge and comfortable. Bathroom was superb and has obviously been upgraded. The facilities especially the new Spa is excellent and the Thai restaurant linked to that was delicious. Would very much recommend
