"Hotel was clean, updated and bed/room was comfortable. Staff was excellent, spoke English, and gave us good recommendations for shopping and dining, etc. Included breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Location was convenient to who we were visiting and the park/zoo one block away was a fabulous discovery!"

"I like to see and support the preservation and adaptive reuse of older structures—it’s environmentally-friendly and preserves a view of the former cityscape. The Ciudad Vieja area is morphing and a little gritty but feels real, not sanitized for tourists. The architect has done his work on this small hotel and capped it off with an extremely helpful and personable (and multilingual) staff. Breakfast isn’t served in the hotel but there are many small shops along the pedestrian street on which the hotel is located. "
