Need a little updating but it fits the bill, especially if you need to stay 3 or more days. My only complaint was that our king bed was a sleep # bed, and one half worked and the other half was broken. My side was completely "deflated" if that is the proper term for the malfunction. We tried to use the remote connected to the bed but for some reason that one side would do nothing. Made for lack of rest and a sore back. Outside of that, the current rating on this hotel is about right.
Tried this La Quinta on my most recent stay in the So Cal area. Very pleased. They are still working on it so everything is not quite done but nothing that was a problem. Room was very nice, spotlessly clean. Breakfast was Great with the standard LQ waffles, boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, etc but also had scrambled eggs, bacon, string cheese and light yogurt.
The most pleasant part of the stay was the staff. Every person I saw greeted me and asked how everything was.
TV are still CRT type, poor reception, very limited in channels available.
toasters not working, coffee machine "semi-working"
Other than that, location is good. On top of a small mount. Big room.
With a breathtaking view overlooking the San Gabriel Mountains our hotels location is near the City of Industry downtown Los …More
I was there to look at colleges with my son. The suite was very spacious and well appointed. There was a closing door between the rooms, and a large flatscreen TV in each room. There was also a nice kitchen area with a coffee maker, fridge and extra sink. I had a club suite and breakfast was included in the club room on the seventh floor. Although they advertised it as a continental breakfast we got scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon etc. so it was actually a full breakfast. In addition, they have a great in-house restaurant where we had dinner. Altogether an excellent experience!
I stayed with my family for 10 days. The staff in the breakfast room was excelente and the food was good. The room had an awful smell though, and even after being cleaned by the cleaning staff it still smelled terrible. I would like to think that it was a problem specifically with our room, and would expect the other rooms to be not that smelly. I would recommend it, if you're doing business nearby or staying for a couple of days.
The City of Industry is built on trade. With no business taxes and a dedicated Foreign Trade Zone, office and manufacturing parks have blossomed where agriculture once grew. The City of Industry honors its roots at the Workman and Temple Family Homestead Museum. This institution has preserved one of California’s oldest homes, an 1841 ranch house updated in the 1870s.
