"I needed to be in Basingstoke for work so booked The Red Lion. It has a free car park at the rear of the hotel. There is a bar at the front which I didn't use. My room (49) was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The lady on reception and the breakfast staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is nice and bright with a good selection of items. I've stayed here three times now and would stay again."
