This was a stay in a lovely castle! There are ruins on the property but it adds to the charm. The grounds are maintained beautifully, our room was gorgeous, comfortable and well appointed. The staff could not be more professional, thoughtful and helpful. We had a lovely dinner and delicious breakfast in the castle’s hall. This stay has been on my bucket list for many years and Amberley castle fulfilled it perfectly!

Beautiful location, great staff and accommodations, wonderful breakfast with lots of choices. Loved the green juice! Easy walk to nearby small village with a high end provisions store and a restaurant the Black Horse. If not driving good access to taxi services and limited uber.

A delightful castle. Easy parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean, with a huge bed and lots of toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. Unfortunately my stay was spoilt by the fact that I had a ground floor room and could hear the person ( probably a man) thumping around in the room above me. It went on both evenings and I even knew what time the person got out of bed in the morning and started thumping around before going to breakfast.

Staying at a Castle has always been on my bucket list. Grounds around the castle are well manicured. Staff are great. Very old school style comfort and service. Bathroom facilities are modern. Rooms are well appointed. Its not cheap, but if you can afford it would recommend as a special occasion.

Staying overnight at a castle has been on my bucket list for quite some time. My Amberley Castle stay did not disappoint. The accommodations were a perfect blend of 21st century comforts and a centuries-old castle. My son and I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our beautiful rooms and breathtaking grounds, along with impeccable service and delicious food. Every request to the staff was fulfilled cheerfully and efficiently.

If you want to be spoiled by amazing service and spectacular food, surrounded by history where famous bishops, kings, and queens stayed for 800 years, look no further. The village setting next door seems out of a fairly tale.
