"The room was amazing and very clean. Catherine welcomed us at the door. We had the best nights sleep ever and woke up feeling refreshed and enjoyed the best breakfast we have had in a long while. After breaking Catherine took us around to see some of the animals they have. I would rate this a 20/10 and would highly recommend staying here. We will be back again next year. Thank you Catherine and Chris for a wonderful stay on your farm. "

"Both the evening meal and breakfast were only just warm which was disappointing. Room 1 was a good size but would have preferred a shower enclosure rather than a shower over the bath. Overall our stay served its purpose as an overnight stay en route to our destination, it was adequate but no more."

"This place was in the perfect location, our big family (2 adults 6 kids) all had a comfortable bed to sleep in, and the host was amazing. We had a mishap that has never happened before, one of our kids broke some pretty valuable furniture and the host was so gracious and we worked something out. The pictures are spot-on. "

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Not a place to stay if you don't drive as public transport lacks availability. On a busy dual carriageway, bus stop a mile away on return journey. A long walk but doable especially in the summer months"

"The cottage had a visiting Pizza van ,pizza were amazing, also they have a stable bar .the cottage was amazing, all the little touches ,my son and his wife arrived first and they text to say how amazing the cottage is "

"Willow Cottage was a great base for our week away exploring Yorkshire (including a fantastic day at The Great Yorkshire Show). James et al were accomodating in every way and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage has a well equipped Kitchen with some essentials, and plenty of storage space throughout. A handy welcome booklet, some local attraction leaflets and local OS map are supplied which came on very useful when thinking up of ideas to entertain our young kids. Harrogate/Knaresborough are worth an explore and only an easy 30 minutes drive, and we were closer to York than initially thought. A lovely stay, would highly recommend. "
