This area is particularly suitable for couples looking for a relaxing stay with easy access to lake activities and dining.

Ita Thao Village, on the south-eastern side of the lake, provides a different experience. It's the home of the Thao aboriginal tribe and has a more culturally focused atmosphere. The village features a bustling market street filled with local food stalls and craft shops, especially along Yiyong Street. There's also a cable car station here that takes you up to the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village.
