Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the manager even gave us a ride in her personal vehicle when we were heading the same direction! They helped us navigate the bus schedule during our stay and schedule a taxi to catch the Alishan sunrise. It is very helpful to know some Mandarin if staying here, but one of the ladies knows enough English to help if you don't. The property is gorgeous. It is incredibly fragrant from very lush tea fields and there are coffee trees growing too. The scenery is stunning-- the sunset on our balcony was amazing. Our room was very comfortable with a balcony that overlooked the tea fields and valley below. It was very quiet, since none of the rooms share walls! Each building is free-standing, which makes it very private. I definitely recommend having a car if staying in Fushan since the bus schedule in Alishan in general is limited. Overall, this was a wonderful stay and I will absolutely be back. Next time, with a car! A huge thank you to the staff, their wonderful farm cats, and the sweet dog Ruru!" You can smell the tea in the hallways and stairs and it smells amazing! There's not much nearby and you'll have to go to the nearest little town for needs. The walk is a bit dicey along winding mountain roads with no sidewalks, but there is a bus you can take for 2 stops too. The people who work there/own the hotel are incredible, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! They picked up our luggage at the nearby town when we arrived a bit early so we didn't have to take them around and gave us rides back and forth whenever we needed. It was too kind! They also helped us figure out bus schedules and how to go places. The room is also equipped with everything you need, including snacks, water, toothbrushes, razors..etc there is water, fridge, and microwave that you can use too. Overall it's a nice midway point between chiayi and alishan if you don't want to stay in alishan and also find chiayi too far. Would recommend!"
