(One thing to note is that bus service, while reliable and close at hand, is infrequent. The room was comfortable and extremely clean. The bed was excellent. It was actually much better than I expected. The family running the B&B were very helpful and happily drove me to the closest town. Breakfast was not available when I stayed, which was a little disappointing. The suite we stay has two bedrooms, a shared washroom with two bidet toilets and a large shower. It also has a large living room and an open tea room that can be converted into a bed room. The suite is clean and very comfortable to stay for a family. The staffs were very friendly. One of the attractions of Alisan is sunrise, you can enjoy a cup of Alisan's green tea in their lounge at the sixth floor. However, if you are enthusiastic about Alisan's sunrise, you should drive to the top of the mountain. You can see the Alishan sunrise from the hotel - no need to jostle up the mountain. Family owned, and it shows!
