Glamping in Chickerell

A lovely b&b. Absolutely perfect for us. Would recommend anyone.

Welcoming from the start with a pot of tea on arrival. Beautiful decor with homely feeling. Room and bed very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious - and all locally sourced where possible. Convenient for the town but need a car really to get down to the promenade. With ample street and some off road parking this wasn't an issue. Free wi-fi a bonus. Would definitely return.

Great location. short walk to beach, old town and marina area. Hosts very friendly. Excellent value for money. Robbed of the win in Four in a bed. (2018)

Karen and Graham made us feel so welcomed. Hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great location next to the beach and harbour. Also close to some great restaurants.

Loved the kindness and professionalism of Karen and Richard. Very helpful and 100% dedicated to high standards in all things. We needed easy walking level access to all amenities including restaurants, coffee shops and places of interest.

Arrived on Friday 3rd November and greeted by excellent weather for the time of year and was greeted by Geoff the owner who was suprised to see who was arriving as we had previously visited and stayed at the bed and breakfast under a different name in August where my wife and I spent our honeymoon. We just arrived home after great stay at The Anchorage Weymouth and have to say it was One of the Best Hotels we have been to and we go to Weymouth a lot. Our hosts Sarah&Jamie were warm and friendly Our room was spacious and very clean really good shower in ensuite bed very comfortable and great view of the harbour from our window. And finally breakfast plentiful and very nice.

A fantastic stay at Chapter 1. Perfect location, beautiful room and breakfast. Friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended.

Cannot fault with hotel but we found that the toilet brush was not clean but lovely stay

It was very nice that we had been saved a parking space and the host was there to take my case. Very nice room clean and well thought out and even an iron and ironing board .

Beautiful room with lots of little extras, good food and great staff.

We had a wonderful night at Aaran Guesthouse, Hyacinth was an absolute gem, very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and cosy, with an amazing view of the bay. The fridge in the room was handy for keeping our drinks cool. The breakfast was very nice. We would love to stay again in the future.

Lovely little gem of a hotel. Within walking distance to everything we wanted. Melaney was lovely and couldn’t have done enough for us. The homemade banana bread in the room on arrival was a lovely touch. Breakfast was superb and there were plenty of options including the option to have takeaway breakfast prepared to eat on the beach. We will be back soon!

very close to beach and all amenities, harbour, shops and resturaunts
