"Sarah was an excellent host. She shared her restaurant recommendations and local attractions to visit. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning. The location was perfect as it was close to the harbour, beach, shopping, and the train and bus locations. Our stay in Weymouth turned out to be our favourite during our 2 week holiday. I highly recommend the Anchorage."

"The Hotel was fine and the evening meal was excellent the only let down was the fact that the hotel has stopped serving breakfasts and also the windows from my room could do with a good cleaning."

Welcoming from the start with a pot of tea on arrival. Beautiful decor with homely feeling. Room and bed very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious - and all locally sourced where possible. Convenient for the town but need a car really to get down to the promenade. With ample street and some off road parking this wasn't an issue. Free wi-fi a bonus. Would definitely return.

Loved the kindness and professionalism of Karen and Richard. Very helpful and 100% dedicated to high standards in all things. We needed easy walking level access to all amenities including restaurants, coffee shops and places of interest.

Arrived on Friday 3rd November and greeted by excellent weather for the time of year and was greeted by Geoff the owner who was suprised to see who was arriving as we had previously visited and stayed at the bed and breakfast under a different name in August where my wife and I spent our honeymoon.
On both this and the other two times that we have had the pleasure of staying at this bed and breakfast Geoff, Chris and their staff have always been very polite, extremely helpful with a good...

Lovely place to stay. Especially liked the nostalgic touches. Really felt like we'd stepped back in time. Very friendly landlady. Even had farmyard animals.

Stayed in room 19 for two nights, room very clean adequate for short stay, beds comfortable, breakfast superbly cooked excellent range of cereals, juices and fruit available as well.
View from room beautiful could not wish for better, Dean was very helpful and worked very hard especially at breakfast time, didnt see Maya but equal credit to her too (also want to apologise for the drink I spilled on the crisp white sheet)
would definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back here soon.

Our room was lovely, suitably large with 2 good wardrobes and a light over the dressing table mirror.
The mattress was very comfortable and table water was always available.
Breakfast was served in the conservatory with a lovely view of the enclosed garden.
We ventured away from the Full English to try the omelettes which were delicious!
The owner, Noorani Willamson is charming, chatty and very knowledgable about the surrounding area.

Great stay at a great pub with good well priced food, room clean and well maintained.
Only problems, finding somewhere to eat Monday night and as a business traveller would have like breakfast to be served a little earlier. Although the breakfast tray was good.

I had a lovely stay at Stoneleigh barn, Rupert and Camilla were really helpful and attentive. My room was lovely and the bathroom was perfect. Everything was clean and tidy, the garden was beautiful and Nutmeg the dog was really sweet.

It was a pleasure to stay the night at the Town House, really lovely people and a bonus to chat over breakfast with another guest. A cosy, homely feel and definitely somewhere we'll book again

What is the nightly rate for a Bed and Breakfast in Chickerell?
Prices for B&Bs in Chickerell often vary, but you can find a great deal from £65 with Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as location and the time of year. It usually costs more to stay at Chickerell B&Bs over the weekend too. Travelers can find the best deals by being flexible with their dates, and by using our filters to sort prices from low to high.
When is the best time to book a Bed and Breakfast in Chickerell?
The best time to book a B&B in Chickerell is during the late spring and summer months, particularly from May to August. This vibrant period attracts visitors looking to explore the stunning Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dramatic cliffs and fossil-rich beaches. During these months, the weather is generally warm, with temperatures often reaching the low 20s Celsius, providing ideal conditions for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and enjoying the picturesque coastal scenery.
July stands out as the most popular month in Chickerell, as families and tourists flock to the area to take advantage of the long sunny days. If you're seeking a more budget-friendly option, consider visiting in September. This month often offers milder weather and fewer crowds, allowing for a more relaxed exploration of the area. You can still enjoy many outdoor activities, including pleasant walks along the beach and visits to nearby attractions without the hustle and bustle of peak season.
