"We were travelling through so needed good food and a comfortable bed. Food was alright, but my steak was tough I didn't finish it. Lovely staff, food needs a few tweaks. No fresh fruit or yoghurt at breakfast."

"Really nice building. Food and drink prices slightly above average Chair in my room was too low to use and it had a 'shabby chic' look but was too much shabby. TV in the room not all free view channels. Service in the pub could be a bit slow for how many people were there."

"This was an excellent choice. One never knows when booking just what one will find. But the Lamb Inn has been superb in every way. It is very well run by a small staff who were welcoming and friendly. The building is beautiful as is its position and our room was just great.
