"We had a lovely stay. Relaxed and fun. Staff super friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Only dropped a star as we had a main course and shared a pudding which took over 2hrs all in all. We laughed about it, I can only assume there was a drama in the kitchen and that's 2hy we waited so long. Still, doesn’t put us off, we'd stay again "

"We had a classic room which was a small room with a king size bed. It was decorated exceptionally with little nice touches such as a

bed, treats, a little bit of brandy for us. However, our toilet and drain broke during our stay and whilst the staff managed to fix the toilet, they couldnt fix the drain so our room smelt like sewage the entire time. "We booked this for a wedding about 6 miles away. It was easy to access with a taxi late at night. We let them know if advance that we would be arriving around 10:30-11pm and they said no problem, a key would be in the bar area as bar was opened until 11:30. We arrived and the manager brought us to our room, which was lovely and clean, and we then went to have a drink at the bar and chatted with the staff until closing. Great sleep in a comfortable bed, great breakfast in the dining area. ...
