"If you want to see what it’s like to live in the great city of Edinburgh when you visit, then this top floor flat near the Meadows is ideal. We enjoyed the proximity to the tourist aspects while enjoying the neighbourhood amenities (coffee shops, best fish and chips, groceries, close bus stops, good restaurants nearby). The flat is nicely furnished with very firm beds and the bonus of sinks in some bedrooms. Room darkening blinds were appreciated as it was light very late and early morning...

"A lovely home to stay in, in the heart of Stirling. The home was fully handicap accessible for my mother on crutches, with an easy step in shower and all on the first floor of the building. Alastair was wonderful and very communicative, and when I had a question about the WiFi he responded to my text right away! One huge plus was the wonderful guidebook we reviewed upon arriving, with personalized tips and recommendations for the area - you can tell this property and thee entire town is loved by...

We immediately realized the instructions to turn on the boiler and heater were incorrect; (after calling we found out the switch is on the kitchen counter and not the bedroom closet). We turned on the boiler and the heat, and left for dinner. It was freezing when we returned, we assumed it just needed to heat up. We contacted the host the next day, no heat and the tv stick...

"This apartment was just what we wanted when looking to stay in Edinburgh. There were a few local restaurants and bars hidden amongst the apartments, within walking distance of many main attractions, and easy to find. The only thing I’d tell Americans, it’s the 2nd floor apartment (which is 1st level in Europe)."
