"A fabulous lodge in a beautiful location. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful."

"After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues"

"We had a fantastic few days at Shieldhill Farmhouse with our extended family. Everything was clean and tidy and we all felt at home the minute we walked through the door. There were lots of little extra things such as toys for the children, recommendations for restaurants and takeaways, and goodies on arrival which were lovely. "BOOK……THIS……HOME!The location is incredible, on a working farm, with a cafe and quaint restaurant, literally steps away. The Owners are sharing their family history with travelers and the modern updates and construction they have done is comparable to the best renovation teams on TV. It is well appointed, the attention to detail is strong, the beds are comfy, and a bathroom for every bedroom allows for space, and privacy for anyone staying. "Needs a little updating. But location was good"

"Margo is a responsive host and helped us with location details, transportation information and ideas for enjoying our stay in Edinburgh. Highly recommend the beautiful cottage and its location. It gave us a break from the busy downtown after long days of travel and seeing the city. The garden is an amazing part of the stay! Minutes away, there were grocery stores and Margo provided a lovely greeting basket that gave us things to enjoy after getting off a long flight. Awesome experience!"

"All rooms were clean and tidy. Weather was very good only a brief period of rain. Weather used the public transport which was so easy to use and treated ourselves to a glutes free chippy tea, which was a short walk into the village. Lovely place!"

"Det er en lille perle i midten af ingenting men stadigvæk tæt på Edinburgh. Helt perfekt til et par dages ferie. "
