Beautiful hotel & amazing staff, my partner and I got engaged on the trip and they went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay

Loved our stay - staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The hotel is in a great location very close to the lighthouse. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the pool was good fun. Thank you to all the staff!

A return visit to Biarritz to take in some sea air! The hotel was situated right above the beach, but also two minutes from the main shopping street. We had paid extra for a balcony, but unfortunately it was rather too windy during our visit for us to take much advantage of it! Enjoyed a meal in the hotel's restaurant on our second night and a nightcap in the hotel bar.

The decor is wonderfully relaxing – clean, practical and full of lovely touches. There are plenty of amenities and the staff are really welcoming. It’s in a brilliant spot right by the Plage Vieux in Biarritz.

Gorgeous hotel on the waterfront - the most impressive in Saint Jean de Luz, with a nice (simple) spa. The staff are the highlight - effortlessly efficient & totally capable - from the (handsome) door men to the amazing receptionist, capable maids & talented masseuse. What a magical find. Love the hotel and its proximity to the beach and the restaurants. Staff were very polite and helpful. Don’t usually go for hotel breakfast but this was the exception. Had a small double room away from sea which I now wish I’d paid the extra for. SJDL is a beautiful place and this hotel is the right place to enjoy it from.

A great hotel 1 minute away from the hustle & bustle. Balcony room was large & immaculate & staff were friendly & helpful. If you are driving be warned - parking is a nightmare. If you find a space leave the car there until you are ready to leave ! 24 hour parking is available 5 minutes away at a cost.

Fantastic hotel in a lovely quiet area,near to beach,town,restaurants etc.The hosts were out of this world,very friendly,helpful all you could ask for.Great breakfast choice,free towels to borrow for the beach.Go for yourselves to find out.

This is such a lovely small hotel, situated in a great location set just back on one of the busy streets in Biarritz. It is right next to all the shops, bars & restaurants and the beach is just a short walk away. The daily market situated just across the road is full of really fresh produce and you can also sit for a coffee and a snack or a glass of wine if you prefer. Even though it is so close to everything it is not noisy.

Very well located for main town and a truly charming hotel

Hotel is lovely with a great location to centre 10 minutes and everything you need is there. A small thing but getting free coffee and cakes anytime of day was really nice especially when the coffee was so good. Would definitely stay there again and really hope to

The design is excellent with a stylish and relaxing and attractive shared area around the lobby (a patio, library, breakfast area). The service was great, our host booked a recommended restaurant for us. The room was well designed and clean and well appointed, and everything functioned flawlessly including fast wifi. The hotel in lovely and obviously caters for the ‘Up Market’ clientele that they get given the proximity to the fashionable town of Biarritz, however Breakfast was not included and cost 26€ each!!!!! Far too much for a continental breakfast with additional hot items extra! Also be aware you are right next to an airport and will get occasional jet noise (not that busy though.
