"The hotel was very nice, clean and pleasant with very accommodating staff who are very keen to help me if required. I was there on business so I managed to get a very good nights sleep every night. I was on the top floor and it was extremely comfortable and I slept well. The swimming pool sauna and Jacuzzi were an excellent addition that I used each night. Overall, a very nice experience"

The bar, and the outside seating area very comfortable and we enjoyed our drinks in the sunshine. Golf course, although we didn’t play looked in extremely good condition. A great break away. "Clean room, excellent breakfast and dinner in the restaurant at very reasonable price and big portions. Close to Dalscone Farm and various other places to keep kids entertained. I booked the deluxe family room although didn’t really know what I was getting due to the lack of pictures online on any website. I would definitely return."

"The Mecure is a walkable distance from the train station, and from its front doors and front rooms one can look right down a main avenue to the Esplanade and the Firth of Clyde. The staff was excellent, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast had a wide choice of buffet items. I also had supper two evenings in the hotel, and the wait staff plus food were very good. The items for vegetarians were fine, but not much was available for vegans. Because of my knee and hip surgeries, I had to ask to change rooms to have a walk-in shower. Do note, if you cannot climb into a tall-sided and narrow bathtub, you need to ask for a room with a walk-in shower. They made the change of rooms for me."

"Flying from prestwick so good location. Good lively bar. Had dinner which was OK. Leaving to early in the morning for breakfast but overall pleasant enough stay."
