The room was clean and comfortable and had 2 chairs to watch TV
The evening meal was excellent and the staff very attentive and the dining room ambience was lovely.
Would definitely stay again and could not recommend it highly enough.

Beautiful hotel set in stunning gardens. The room was large, clean and had everything you needed for an overnight stay. The bathroom was also large with a great strong shower. There were toiletries supplied along with a hairdryer. The room was a bit damp smelling but I think maybe just a couple of hours with the window open before arrival would have solved that as no damp in the room. The hotel was quiet and had a relaxed feel. Would definitely go again

Room lovely and spacious.
Staff were very knowledgeable about local area, and could not have been more friendly and helpful.
Breakfast porridge or full cooked breakfast.and some other cereal options etc, tasty and good quality.
There's no bar or restaurant, just breakfast, but locally there are other food options.

Great location - approx. 50m from the railway station and 400m from Loreburn Hall, the venue for the gig we went to. Quality breakfast. Lovely B&B - our bedroom had a proper-sized TV, the central lounge was bright and tastefully furnished, the breakfast room had great bay windows and quality furniture. Doonhamer hospitality. Adequate on-site parking.

Really enjoyed our 2 night b&b stay at the Huntingdon house hotel in Dumfries.
Perfect position for Dumfries town centre. And dunfries train station.
Large car park. Hotel has a bar area, with outdoor seating overlooking front garden.
Our room was very comfortable with double bed. Ensuite large shower room. Bathrobes. Plenty of tea/coffee.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice to choose from.
And the owners and staff are wonderful.
Will stay again and will recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the Townhouse, our room was amazing and the property is on a quiet street close to the centre of Ayr and the seafront. We would happily stay again.

We loved everything about this property - the hosts are lovely, and gave us tips for places to visit, were prepared to be flexible about when we had breakfast (we chose 9.00am). The whole place was very clean, and they had thought about everything a guest might need. Breakfast was lovely, and choices were varied. They could charge more, it's great value for money. The best B&B we've stayed in - highly recommended

Very good alternative to a hotel. All facilities we required for a great town centre stay in Ayr for the races. Breakfast was fantastic value. Only downside was staying in room 6 we had a bathroom on the other side of the corridor.
