"The room was spotless. Staff was fantastic. The parking on site was a luxury we later discovered during our 4 weeks in Italy. This was our first night after our flight from New York. The goal was to dine at Pepe in Grani. The hotel an easy 20 minute drive to Caiazzo. Hotel Plana did a great job and lived up to its past reviews."

"The location was ideal, train and taxi stand was 20 metres & you can walk there.. The Palazzo Reale was 100 metres walkable distance. Everthing was close, shopping, supermarket and restaurants. Our room was renovated and modern. A full continental style breakfast was included. It’s a convenient and comfortable hotel. Do not expect a Resort, or spa style. Happy with our choice."

The hotel staff were great, polite and efficient. Breakfast had a good amount of items and well stocked. He room was clean and offered good facilities. We had hired a car so didn't explode too much by foot around the hotel but there was a few fruit stalls and shops around. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to friends.

The most important thing to me is cleanliness, and i could not fault the hotel on this. The room was clean, and cleaned daily with the towels replaced. The fridge in the room a very welcome addition considering the temperatures, and the safe well used. The hotel provides a shuttle transport to Licola Railway Station. Do not rely on the times stated, we did, and very nearly missed our tour meet leading to a frantic attempt to get across Naples and get to the meeting Point with seconds to...

My wife and I recently stayed at Hotel Plana and had a fantastic experience. We were visiting the Royal Palace of Caserta, and the hotel’s location couldn’t have been more convenient. Having on-site parking also gave us great peace of mind.
From check-in to check-out, the staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Although we arrived a little earlier than expected, they kindly accommodated us and made sure we could check in right away.

Had a lovely relaxing stay here. The room was large, modern and had beautiful views from the balcony. We had a great meal at the restaurant- again with spectacular views! Good parking outside. My only criticism was the bathroom seemed very outdated compared to the rest of the amenities and the hot tub/ jacuzzi on the roof is not switched on in summer so no bubbles and cold!

This hotel is not in the centre of town, but we felt perfectly safe here. Though we only stayed here for one night, I would recommend it as the hotel was easy to find, the breakfast was good, it was good value and the staff were lovely.

Clean room, easy self check-in, close to airport, secure parking. Quiet. Enjoyed the stay. Staff were friendly and helped when I forgot something in the room

The property is modern, the rooms are spacious and reflect 4 stars.
The location is about a mile from the city centre, there is a shuttle service to the city centre offered by the hotel. Alternatively, you can get a cab for €20 to city centre.
There were good options for breakfast, and staff are welcoming.
It would be good to have an iron in the room, although you can request for one in the reception. The only downside is the iron board cover was a little old and dirty, please replace it...

Staff were amazing, helping my friend to get to the hotel late at night from the airport when there was a general strike. They really went above and beyond.
Room was nice and quiet. Breakfast was fine.
Easy walking distance to metro and tram for the city centre.

Lovely hotel, great spot for getting to/from naples airport - about 35euro in a taxi/20mins drive (much quicker than any central naples hotels). It was a perfect "last day" spot for me, after a week on the amalfi and wanting a hassel-free early morning transfer. This hotel has a beautiful swimming pool, fantastic restaurant (actually the best pasta I'd had all week!) and my room was really spacious and beautifully appointed (with a v. comfy bed!!). It's in the perfect spot for visiting pompeii...

I spent two nights in Naples. This was a very nice hotel, close to the famous opera house, Teatro di San Carlo. I had a comfortable spacious room with a great power shower. The Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is lovely, very friendly helpful staff. Very clean and smart looking. The room we had was the Deluxe double which was spacious and had a door to a balcony area which looked out towards Mount Vesuvius. The main problem for us was the location. The location was OK in that it wasn't crime ridden or anything like that but it is on the Sarno train line from Naples. This is fine for going into Naples and then possibly going on from there but as most of the things we wanted to do were on the...

The five rooms is a great small hotel in the heart of Naples. One of those places you would not know is there until you’re shown.
Alfredo is super helpful and sent details of where to go before I arrived and was then in touch via WhatsApp on the day of arrival in order to check all was ok . Once there it was fun going through the big door and up in the old style lift .. once on floor 4 you are greeted by a clean, modern and stylish boutique hotel - nicely decorated with a breakfast room and...

Given that Casapesenna is a small town, the best area to stay is generally within the town centre itself, or in the immediate surrounding countryside for a more tranquil experience.
The town centre of Casapesenna offers the convenience of being close to local amenities such as shops, cafes, and restaurants. It's a compact area, making it easy to navigate on foot. Staying here provides a straightforward base for exploring the town and accessing local transport links if you plan to venture further afield.
For those seeking a quiet retreat, the countryside immediately surrounding Casapesenna is a good option. Here, you'll find agriturismos or guesthouses that offer a taste of rural Italian life with views of the agricultural landscape.
When is the best time to go to Casapesenna?
The best time to visit Casapesenna for pleasant weather and fewer crowds is during the shoulder seasons of April to May and September to October.
During these months, the weather is generally mild and sunny, superb for exploring the region without the intense heat of summer. You'll find the countryside green and blooming in spring, while autumn brings comfortable temperatures and often a harvest festival atmosphere in nearby towns. This period is ideal for those who enjoy leisurely walks, outdoor dining, and exploring historical sites.
Families travelling with children might prefer early June or late August. While it's warmer, the main tourist rush hasn't fully begun or is starting to wind down, meaning attractions are still accessible without extreme crowds.
